CROCHETED PURSE PATTERN

This beautiful crocheted purse (or clutch) pattern works up quickly and is a great project for the beginner crocheter who is ready to bump up their skills a notch.  Use 3mm recycled cotton rope to make a great 4-season purse or choose raffia yarn for a light summer bag or clutch.

Materials needed:

      • Adjustable cork strap or 9” of ½” cork strapping, key clip, and 2 chicago screws (information on where to purchase in the pattern).
      • Tapestry needle, scissors

 Techniques/stitches used:  Magic loop, chain, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet.

Level:  Advanced beginner

How to Make a Macrame Feather (Intermediate)

Macrame feather instructions

Materials needed:

  • Approximately 25 feet of 5mm Aster & Vine recycled cotton rope
  • Medium wood ring (or something else to hang your feather off)
  • Scissors
  • Optional: Macrame brush, fabric stiffener 

Knots used:  Lark’s Head knot, Square knot, Clove Hitch Knot
